Turbofolk series

Created between 2020 and 2022, Turbofolk gathers fifteen social types inherited from the world before the pandemic. Their polychrome bodies are designed for the roles they perform, while symbols of popular culture borrow the authority of sacred attributes.

Meaning develops vertically, around the figure and from surface to interior. With each change of view, recognition gives way to contradiction, and no role remains as certain as it first seemed.
